01. DATA_INGESTION (What we collect)

To maintain your uplink to ForumUniHub, we collect the following metadata:

  • Identity: Name and Institutional Email Address.
  • Telemetry: IP Address (for security/ban enforcement).
  • Content: Any "Data Packets" (posts/comments/files) you transmit.

02. GDPR_USER_RIGHTS (EU/UK_DIRECTIVE)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you hold the following operational controls:

>> Right_to_Access: Request a copy of your data.
>> Right_to_Rectify: Correct inaccurate metadata.
>> Right_to_Erasure: The "Right to be Forgotten."
>> Right_to_Portability: Transfer your data packets.

03. SESSION_COOKIES

We use essential cookies to manage your "Session Token." These are small data fragments that allow the server to remember your authentication state. We do NOT use third-party tracking or advertising pixels (e.g., No Meta/Google Ads tracking).

04. RETENTION_PERIOD

Your data remains active as long as your "Post" (account) is registered. If you choose to "Deactivate Post," all personal metadata is purged from our production database within 30 days, excluding anonymized posts required for forum continuity.

05. SECURITY_UPLINK

All passwords are hashed using BCRYPT. Files uploaded to the server are stored in a secure sector with randomized filenames to prevent direct URL sniffing.
